About Me

Hi, my name is Adriana. What inspired me to be a counsellor was all thanks to my experience back in my teenage years, where I struggled with my insecurities and punished myself for these flaws. In that instance, I was fortunate to have access to therapy, which allows me to appreciate the menial, little things and to slowly accept the imperfections we are made of. Our lives were never destined to be smooth sailing. Sometimes, we need an anchor and at times we have to learn to adjust the sails, to learn to accept the person we are, and it takes effort and time. In the therapy session, you are the narrator of your life, in control of your stories and the way you would like to share them. The hiccups, the writer’s block you have faced in life and the uncertainty about deciding is a part of living. I believe that when it comes to therapy, the desire of wanting yourself to change is the best possible outcome. Change starts from taking the first step, the smallest step forward from your current position. Reaching out, and seeking therapy, is a milestone that deserves applause. A therapy session is a no-judgement zone, a channel for you to express your inner turmoil and it allows you to recognise your feelings and thoughts. Being vulnerable and honest with yourself is the start of your self-discovering journey. I am here to assist you in guiding and hope that you can view a clearer picture of the life you would like to embark on. My Style & Approach

My main counselling approach is Person- Centered Therapy where the idea that each of us has the power to find the best solutions for ourselves and the ability to make appropriate changes in our lives. Along with the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that focuses on our thoughts, normally the inaccurate or negative one so we can view challenging situations more clearly and decide on the best way to respond to them. I integrated Mindfulness which focuses more to the present, Brainspotting that uses the field of vision to access traumatic memories in my therapy session.

Sessions will be conducted online using either Zoom or Google Hangout, based on your preference. The meeting link will be provided once your booking is confirmed, ensuring convenience and privacy.

To reschedule your session, simply contact Bambi Support at least 24 hours before the session is scheduled to start. We’ll assist you in arranging a new time that works for both you and the counselor. Please note, if you fail to notify us within 24 hours or make last-minute changes (less than 24 hours before the session), the session will be chargeable as per the original booking.

Yes, you can request a change without needing to cancel the session. Contact Bambi Support with the name of the counselor you’d like to switch to, and if their schedule aligns, the session will proceed with them. If there’s a price difference, you’ll either need to top up or the overpaid amount will be credited to your account for future bookings.

It depends on your needs and preferences. After the first session, your counselor can provide guidance on the recommended number of sessions based on your concerns and goals. However, the decision is entirely up to you, depending on your comfort level and financial situation. There is no fixed number of sessions—you can continue as long as you find the sessions beneficial.
